Have you ever had someone ask you what you did, and you had no idea how to respond? It’s kind of a funny feeling to answer somebody when they ask you what do you do... Especially if is someone you know who is telling you “Hey, why would you get into an MLM?”
They think that you go bug people in the mall or you go to home meetings or hotel meetings. I dislike those tactics, because they are stuck in the ’90s, and that is not what I am about.
The funny thing about the MLM industry is that a lot of people get into it as their very first business venture and they don’t really know how to market it. I was one of them. They don’t know how to go out into the big wide world and market this opportunity.
So what do they do? They lean back on the tactics their up-line taught them, which is,
“ Write a huge list of all your family members and friends, and go bug them, and hopefully, some of them will join"…

The top producers in MLM don't make a list of 200 people, don't do home meetings or anything like that. They use something equivalent of a sales funnels.
