We talked about about the third stage witch is solution aware. And today let’s talk the fourth stage which is Product Awareness.


A product-aware visitor knows the solution to their problems and is aware of the few products for their problem. Yet they cannot narrow down which product would be the best choice. At this stage, you’re competing against other products of the same type... not substitutes to your product.


How can you tell if a visitor is product aware?

They search for a specific product in Google. Another tell is that they jump from similar product page to similar product page, based on “related-product recommendations.” A consumer at the product aware stage may continue reviewing all their options from various companies and considering only a few offerings.

The goal with the customers who are aware of the product is to BUILD TRUST. The visitors know which product category may offer a solution to their problems and are comparing specific products. You need to build trust with your visitors by promoting testimonials and social proof.


Help them reduce their uncertainty with great customer support and push them gently towards a purchase with personalized product recommendations. You can provide great customer support with the help of good customer service software.


Your goal in the Product Awareness stage is to inform the customer of your product’s features and benefits. Product aware consumers need to understand why your company can best fulfill their need. Show why you’re better than competitors.

Create content for your product aware customers that distinguishes your offerings from your competitors.


You can help your potential prospects at this stage by:

1- Recommend relevant products with and exit popups

2- Email autoresponders are a great place to insert product aware case studies

3- Offer discounted products - most MLM companies have special offerings

4- Product comparisons of your offerings versus your major competitors' products

5- Create video, PDF and guides to demonstrate your products or services


Now that your prospect knows you and your offer. You need to make them fully aware of your offer’s features and its benefits over competitors. And that’s the goal — to show them your offer’s superiority over those competitors. So your headline should contain your offer’s main feature and squeeze in the biggest benefit.


Customers that are Product Aware just need more information about your offer’s features and benefits... Email autoresponder such as your welcome sequence are a great place for case studies. Think about it: someone on your email list had to find you and download your lead magnet, so they might know of your product without knowing all the details.


Now that you have built a bit of rapport with the first few emails in the sequence.The prospect will know more about your brand and product by then, making a case study-style email that emphasizes your offer’s features and benefits is the perfect thing to send. Then you can sell them your features and benefits with the case study.


This is the stage of awareness where most marketers already excel. It’s time to sell.
