We talked about the critical steps before the visitor gets to your landing page and today we are going to talk about how to QUALIFY A BUYER.
The whole goal here is to ask certain questions to get your prospect mind’s wheels spinning in a particular direction. The idea is to understand the current challenges and difficulties of the prospect and identify potential areas of opportunity.
We plant the SEEDS, and the prospects start wondering about a question we asked. Then they click over to the landing page where we reveal the answer or solution. It’s all about influencing what people are thinking about when they see your offer.

You want to qualify your subscribers and find out who is willing to give you an email address in exchange for more information. As soon as they OPT-IN, you will collect their email and they enter your subscribing email list.
So in exchange for their email your can give them a free report or a free video showing the visitor one thing they would really want to know. If people aren’t willing to give their email addresses at this point, they are highly unlikely going to purchase your MLM product or services or join your opportunity later.
Immediately after you qualify your subscribers, you want to find out who among them is a BUYER.
How many of those who were interested in getting the free information are willing to out their credit cards and make a purchase or join your company opportunity?
Dan Kennedy’s golden principle: a buyer is a buyer is a buyer.
Meaning if someone is willing to buy from you once, they’ll continue to buy from you as long as you keep offering value. So as soon as someone fills out their name and email address and clicks on submit button, they should land on a page that offers your MLM products to buy.
Offer them something of value that will hook them. Maybe something that you company offer as a first time buyer… like a products bundle at discounted price.
It should be priced so low that it’s an absolute no-brainer for them to buy. Once I’ve identified who the buyers are, then you can market to them differently. You can pick up the phone and talk to them and add them to a separate email sequence.
At this point, you have two lists:
Subscribers and Buyers. Each list is unique and gets treated differently. After you’ve identified the buyers, you want to identify the hyperactive buyers. These are the people who are in some kind of pain right now and will buy more than one product at a time.
You want to identify these people as quickly as possible.
Who’s in pain right now?
And what are they willing to buy right now to alleviate that pain?
You want to be able to offer them something NOW. If you don’t, they’ll leave your site and go find another site to buy from.
People love to buy. And when they’re in pain and want relief, they will spend money in that quest. Once you know who those people are, you are going to treat them differently from the subscribers and the buyers.
At this point… If you’ve followed the phases you’ve already moved the initial prospect experience through your MLM funnel. It’s pretty much over and it happened in five to ten minutes. The goal is to keep those people you’ve identified coming back to buy from you again and again or join your opportunity.
These steps are quite important because it what keeps them referring you to their friends. During this step, you want to develop relationship. Now, you’re going to continue to provide value and help people with whatever you offer. Allow some time to pass. Let them experience whatever products they’ve already purchased, and give them enough time to see the value you gave them.
This is the point where you start changing the type of funnels you use and ask them to join your opportunity. Not many people are going to join but some will.
Usually you have to change the selling environment if you want them to join your network marketing company.
You do that by having a CTA button…clicking that button will allow them to schedule an appointment to chat on the phone. Suddenly you have a completely different sales environment. People on the phone are more likely to listen closely to an offer.
When we change the selling environment, we can communicate at a different level, and it becomes easier to move people up to the higher levels and ask them to join your MLM opportunity.
