MLMT 268: Selling The Mutual Exchange Of Value

MLM Trigger Episode #268

Last episode was about direct response selling. And today let’s talk about what products you are trying to sell.

Effective selling is the ability to lead a person toward a mutual beneficial transaction. You want to be a persuasive communicator who reach people by actively listening to their needs or wants and help solve them issues.

Before building and working out how to sell your MLM product, find out if there is a real need for it. As part of your research, talk to your existing customers to figure out how your product helped solve their existing problems and why they invested in you rather than others.

The first and most important consideration is WHAT is your chosen product you are trying to sell within all the products your company has to offer.

Then start thinking WHO exactly you will be selling your product to.

You need to identify your target audience in oder to avoid the risk of wasting your time by creating a marketing offer that no one wants or needs.

Ask yourself:

— There is something in my product that I can add a new twist?

— Is your product a bargain in WHAT it does for the customer?

— Does the product sells itself?

— Is the product retains your customer base?

Determine your unique selling proposition to sell more than your competitors who are offering the same product. For example, you will want to give them something for FREE to differentiate yourself from others.

In doing so you will have to:

1— Identify a problem and solve it

People buy products and services they need. Before sending your offering ad, understand what problem you are solving for them and how.

2— Understand your product

First learn about your chosen product and use that product yourself, so it makes easy conversation with your prospect. This can help you figure out how this product will solve your customer's problem.

3— Know your customer and align with their needs

Each customer has a unique set of concerns related to their needs. Make your customers happy by doing something for them, in order to meet their needs.

4— Ask intelligent questions

Knowing your customer allows you to ask the right questions and lead the conversation toward a positive outcome. Asking open-ended questions will help get your customer talking so that you can listen to their needs and offer specific solutions.

5— Build relationship and credibility

Take notes after you've communicate with your customers and follow up on helping them with their needs. Reaching out for something other than business will help strengthen your relationship. Hearing from you regularly reminds them how easily they can reach you if they have a question or need to purchase additional products.

With the odds stacked against you, because there are so many people selling the same products in your company. It’s crucial to target your customers and create a sales strategy that ties to your product. Tweaking your offering in the early stages and adding desirable features can help you boost your bottom line.

The top producers in MLM don't make a list of 200 people, don't do home meetings or anything like that. They use something equivalent of a sales funnels.
