Last episode was about the use of IMAGINATION to differentiate your product from other similar products . And today let’s talk about removing resistance of your prospects.
The enemies of advertising as network marketers are “INDIFFERENCE - APATHY - INERTIA” did you ever notice that most people attitude toward nearly everything we see, read, hear and experience is “SO WHAT?”
—Indifference is the number one hurdle that we must overcome as network marketers. We use indifference as a shield to avoid suffering, fear of rejection or failure as a defense mechanism.
Clearing the hurdle of indifference by experimenting with different strategies and be patient with yourself as you work towards your personal values and what truly matters to you. You will begin to appreciate what a hurdle indifference is when you realize how massive the competition is for your prospect’s time and attention.

—Apathy is the second hurdle that we must overcome as network marketers. it's essentially the feeling of not feeling. Apathy refers to a lack of motivation, enthusiasm that diminished emotional response or lack of concern towards people.
Clearing the hurdle of apathy by coping with the emotional roller coaster of network marketing is to acknowledge your feelings and accept them as normal and natural.
As marketers, it is essential to recognize that apathy can be a significant obstacle in engaging consumers. Change your focus on walking in your audience's shoes to get a feel for what they need right now.
—Inertia is the third hurdle that we must overcome as network marketers. Inertia is the other built-in obstacle we must fight. It’s the resistance of change or acceleration.
People hate to bother changing their minds, their habits, their routines and their opinions. It takes tons of persuasion to make people do even the things THEY WANT TO DO. That’s why we give them “one-day sales or limited-time offers” and all sorts of things to get people to overcome that deadly enemy of action… INERTIA.
The resistance need to be handle with one thought in mind, to remove the prospect objections or resistance. In order for them to order your product which he/she wanted but because of your indifference, apathy or inertia it was put off until eventually the purchase was missed entirely.
How to establish a connection and build rapport with your prospects:
1— Active Listening.
One of the most important aspects of building rapport is active listening. Pay attention to what your prospects are saying and show genuine interest in their concerns, needs, and desires. Active listening plays a crucial role in understanding and addressing the objections raised by prospects during the sales process.
2— Show Empathy. Put yourself in your prospects' shoes and try to understand their challenges and pain points. Show empathy by acknowledging their concerns and offering solutions that address their specific needs. To overcome objections related to risk or uncertainty, offer guarantees or trial periods. This allows potential customers to try your product with the assurance that they can opt out if it doesn't meet their expectations.
3— Be Authentic. Authenticity is key when building rapport. Be genuine, honest and transparent with your prospects. People appreciate authenticity and are more likely to trust someone who is open and sincere.
Get serious about prospecting and remember that it is crucial to avoid the enemies of “INDIFFERENCE - APATHY - INERTIA” and enhance your effectiveness to achieve better results.
