We talked about about the secret of personal success in life and today let’s talk about how to attract people that are interested in what you are selling.


As a network marketer you can attract attention by the way you dress, by your tone of voice, by the time you spend listening not talking. You really advertise yourself in all forms of communication like on phone, on emails, blogs, podcasts and many other ways. But remember that the first thing your prospective customer notices about you, is the HEADLINE in your communication.


There are many key points to your ability to ATTRACT or REJECT attention. A flashy appearance is an artificial headline— a false alarm. It is not calling attention on directing the prospect’s attention to what is your offering. Attracting attention is the purpose of making the right impression from the start with your prospect. It is far better to underplay your sense of humor, your skill and your intelligence than to overplay it.

The better your stories are and your ideas are the more convincing you will be by making the right impression. Often a soft voice can speak louder that a loud voice.


So the headline of your content that you put out there is YOUR APPEARANCE. To exaggerate it, is to force the reader or listener to ignore whatever request follow that headline.


People will not believe what you say just because you say it. People will not respond to your advertising unless there is plenty of incentive for them to do so. Your goal in advertising yourself is to attract attention first. And unless this is accomplished all the rest is immaterial.

There is always a new goal to be reached, a new problem to be solved and it should keep you thinking about where you are, where you want to go and about what your prospects want, need and how to reach them. Advertising stretches you, while making you use all of your abilities and develop new ones.


The person reading or listening to your story must be attracted quickly with a very few words by an attention grabber your prospect can’t resist. Every time you speak you are advertising yourself for better or worse. As well as how good a listener you are.

Nearly everything you do advertises YOU… from the emails you write. The way you speak, the way you remember or forget their name.


There are so many ways to advertise successfully— Courtesy is advertising, promptness is advertising, tolerance is advertising and you can advertise favorably even when you must say NO, if you say it graciously. Those things cost nothing but they are the ingredients of successful and personal advertising.


To attract attention you must shake people out of their self-contentment. Why because we hate to change our minds, our habits or routines. It takes tons of persuasion to get us to do or think what we want do or think. The best way to attract attention is to direct your request to your MLM prospect’s interest and NOT YOURS.


1- Attract people with your HEADLINE, it is your appearance and the first sentence of your email or talk

2- Be HONEST in everything you write or say

3- Take PRIDE in yourself

4- Show INTEREST and CONCERN for your prospects

5- Be ENTHUSIASTIC — but not overly so — in expressing your ideas and opinions


Following these guidelines will help you to sell your appearance, your thoughts, your words and your experience to your prospects.
