We talked about the process to create a winning sales funnel that consistently generate leads and sales. Today let’s talk about the 10,000 foot overview of your Funnels & your Value Ladder.
There is a no question that marketing online can be overwhelming. However, there are proven formulas that work in today’s online world that will help you accomplish the goals of having a MLM sustainable business and generate an income.
No matter what you are selling… it could be your MLM services or MLM products, you have to engage in one SIMPLE STRATEGY, that has been the cornerstone of practically every successful entrepreneur. If you understand the basics of generating leads— meaning the people who are in your target market… you will be able to grow and build you business to the next level.

Every lead within the right audience can be nurtured in a way that moves a person down a funnel to a purchase. FUNNEL is the new favorite marketing catch phrase.
It’s the path you want to take a potential customer on. You can think of the traditional way of funneling leads from the top to bottom and eventually weeding out the people along the way to find the small number of customers that will purchase your MLM products, service or opportunity.
The new way of thinking about FUNNELS is not from the top to bottom in just one simple path. But rather a layer of different funnels that are designed to take effect at different stages. From transforming a COLD prospect (one who never heard of you before) to a WARM customer (buying your MLM product), to a HOT repeat customer who join your team and become a raving fan.
The funnel starts off the journey of a potential sale by creating something of value for free… in exchange for their email. This usually is a simple page a “lead magnet” with the purpose of generating leads by giving away a freebie like a how-to video content, resource guide, checklist or even sample of your products.
A LEAD MAGNET also known as a SQUEEZE PAGE is an online marketing terminology that allows you to ask for an email address in exchange to send them something for free.
We all want to convert everyone who send us their email address. But first you need to establish a relationship with that person by giving them something of value and establishing yourself as someone who cares about them and want to help solve their problems.
The main theory of a VALUE LADDER is creating a relationship of value with a potential customer. The way you start this relationship is solving a real problem for real people.
The main focus of the value ladder is your audience, understanding their pain points and how you can help make a difference in their life by solving their needs.
For example: Let’s say you want to sell a natural boosting energy supplement. First, there is a ton of competition out there. So you want to differentiate yourself by following the strategic steps of narrowing down the message to a specific group of people.
Something like... “My little natural energy boosting secret every women over 40 needs” This is your lead magnet. This immediately can spark the interest of woman over 40 that may have issue with a lack of energy.
That woman over 40 is intrigued and she click your CTA because you have tied into a pain point she has and have a FREE solution for her. So nothing to loose for her and she want to see how your solution can help her.
So getting back to the value ladder, people are naturally going to pay more for something if they see value in it. Your job as a network marketer is to provide the value and create a relationship. Then eventually, through the proper funnel you will create the sale when you ask for it.
Persistence and the proper follow up campaign will put you at the top of that customer’s list when they are ready to pull out their credit card.
When you solve problems for people, they engage in you and trust that you are able to help them, so they buy from you. But the main reason why you want to have the right value ladder, it’s about leads.
Once you have spent the money to obtain that person’s email, you now have them as an audience to monetize them forever as long as you continue to give them value. Leads are the foundation of the Value Ladder
The Value Ladder is your key and starting point to building your marketing funnel. Once you have these steps in place, you can lead the people from being a prospect to becoming a customer and to becoming a raving fan.
Remember that in order to get leads, you must give
You also must establish what problem you will solve
You need to set up funnels that get people in and get them to buy
You need to continuously follow up and give value
